What is the issue?
If we talk about the problem, today our society wants to achieve health in a natural way by trusting the yoga teachers and is trying to depend on the indigenous yoga therapy. The same therapy is actually becoming the cause of their insecurity. Because many people without education are becoming self-proclaimed yoga teachers and organizing yoga camps, yoga sessions in the streets and neighborhoods and the result of which is that instead of getting well, people are becoming unwell. If it continues like this and no law is brought, then in the future no one will be found to believe in this system.
Why this is happening?
If we look at the present system, no fixed standards have been made in the field of yoga. Because of which there is no government/reliable criteria as to who is suitable and who is unsuitable for teaching yoga. Due to which today everyone becomes a yoga guru without education, without knowledge, without degree. And such people are a great threat to the health and safety of the people in the society, which needs to be tackled.

No yoga organization comes forward to work on this subject because every organization is driven by personal interests. But the Yog Front Organization came forward with all such problems from 2021 itself and while working to find a solution to all the problems, demanded a Yoga law. Not only the demand but through the Yog Kanoon Movement, people across India were awakened to their interests and took this issue not only to the State Governments but also to the Court, the Central Government, the Prime Minister, the President and the Supreme Court. The organization always gave priority to public interest and more than 217 complaints were filed through which an attempt was made to wake up the government and government officials.
